The PierWedge is an equitorial wedge designed to attach a fork-mounted SCT directly to a concrete pier. Key benefits of the PierWedge include:
- Accomodates Celestron and Meade SCTs from 7" to 14"
- Latitude range from 22° to 65°
- Base plate of 1" 6061 aluminum and a wedge plate of 3/4" 6061 aluminum
- Wedge plate pivots on a 3/4" stainless steel rod for superior strength
- Dual 1/2"-20 threaded stainless steel rods assemblies lock the latitude adjustment into place and keep the mount from flexing
